About the Brand

Strathcona International Watches is a new, independent watch company based in  Vancouver, Canada.  With a team that has worked for years with some of the world’s best watch brands, Strathcona was launched to focus on the strengths of different global manufacturers to bring you the best value in a luxury watch.  Our new Baseline series brings together traditional Swiss parts and a modern Japanese movement, to deliver the best quality and craftsmanship in a stylish watch with classic lines.

Strathcona’s mission is to deliver a high-quality, workhorse watch at the best value.  Having a luxury watch you can wear every day, no matter your profession, and have it work like the day you bought it.  We travel the world to make sure you can get the best quality in a luxury watch and bring a light on the best craftspeople in the watch industry.

Meet the New Baseline Edition

The Baseline Edition is Strathcona’s first luxury watch, as well as an ode to our love for all things tennis. These two watches pay homage to the British grass court season and the red clay swing of Europe with a limited run of 300 total pieces.

The face of the Baseline Edition BRG brings in the deep greens synonymous with the English summer. The sunburst dial showcases the bright greens of a grass court during the day and changes to a near black as the sun goes down and the light disappears. While the Red Clay edition brings out the brilliance and joy that comes from hitting on a clay court (or drinking rosé) near the beach or in the center of Paris.

Both of the Baseline Edition timepieces feature a stainless steel case with a sawtooth back (water resistant up to 10 ATM) to keep out the sweat, making it durable enough to take a beating during a match in all conditions.  A hand-polished bracelet, sapphire crystal, and a premium Japanese automatic movement power the watch on and off the court. Swiss Lume adds the final touch for those post-match evenings.
