As many of you know, I love Chicago. While I live in Atlanta and kind of think of NYC as my where I was raised. Chicago has easily become my favorite place to visit and it is namely because of people like Mr. Feelgood.
I was Initially introduced to Greg Feelgood (Gurley) through another one of my buddies also named Greg who at the time I was in town visiting. Mr. Feelgood recommended that we head to a Latin restaurant where the prices were low, the atmosphere was simple, and the food was down right delicious. After chopping it up for a few minutes, I could instantly tell Mr. Feelgood was a person that I wanted to chop it up with and the two Gregs and I proceeded to paint the town that evening, checking out speakeasies, music spots, and dive bars a like. Fast forward a few months, Mr. Feelgood is hear to take over THE DAILEY BLEND this week with his #FEELGOOD sound, contributing to the latest edition of 'Sound Off' and guest mixing for 'The Dailey Blend Podcast'. So with that said, here is Mr. Feelgood as he Sounds Off!

Currently I'm just working on the #feelgood movement. We just want to throw events, produce mixtapes, that get people in a good mood. The movement is about more than music. Its about food, cocktails, lifestyle, and music. Everything we do these days is so connected and I've been fortunate enough to make friends with so many talented people. If we pool our talents to inspire and make the world feel good the possibilities are endless.
Do you have a favorite type of music?
I don't really have a favorite type of music. I grew up listening to soul and funk music. Part of the reason I gravitated to hip hop at a younger age is because I was able to recognize samples in the songs. Currently I've been listening to quite a bit Brazilian bossa nova type tracks.

Stevie Wonder- Songs in the Key of Life
What was the last concert or festival you went to?
Chance the Rapper
So you live in Chicago, what is the one thing that people MUST do while visiting the windy city?
There is so much to do in this city its tough to name just one thing. I alway say that there is no better city in the summertime than Chicago. The Chicago summer street fest is a must do. The fest take on the personalities of the neighborhoods in which they are located which makes them all unique. I love West Fest in the West Town neighborhood always has an amazing house DJ lineup that includes Derrick Carter.
Who has better pizza, Chicago or NYC?
Chicago and I don't mean the crap they serve at Pizzaria Uno or Due. There are so many authentic pizza places here that will change the way you look at Chicago pizza.
What is your favorite album right now?
I'm a really big fan of the "Oxymoron" album by Schoolboy Q. The production is a bit dark, the beats knock and he has a funky flow thats very original.
Who is your favorite DJ, Musician, who ever?
Favorite DJ that embodies the meaning of feel good is ?uestlove. The dude's knowledge of music is just so deep. I've seen him spin 4 hour house sets in Philly and I've also seen him spin amazing soul sets in Chicago with rare blues/jazz samples. No matter what he's spinning the way he moves a crowd and gets them to go to daring/interesting places is amazing. My favorite musician is Prince because well, he's Prince.
