Story-1:: Time to Make
Create a holiday gift people will say, WOW, you cared.
Overview: I love creating things, whether videos, podcasts, web content, whatever the medium, creating is fun. So when I discovered Blurb, I finally found an answer to those terrible made by XYZ-relative books that come from the drug store that never hold up. So when I learned about Blurb, I got excited and am working on my first project ideas to hopefully capture some of the more exciting things we are doing with Dailey Blend. Have a fun project, or just want to jazz up your baby pictures/vacation pictures. Then look no further.

Story-2:: What did I miss? with Michelle Beadle
An all new podcast from the folks at the Athletic
Overview: Michelle Beadle is one of my favorite sports personalities. I appreciated that she is fun, engaging, has been in the game for a while, and appears to be doing it her way now that she has left ESPN and has joined the Athletic. What Did I Miss?" with Michelle Beadle takes you into the mind of Michelle three times a week, covering sports and pop culture--juicy NBA storylines, bad tv...good tv...really any tv--a little bit of everything. Joined by friends, old and new, each episode will cover the day's obsession from Michelle's point of view.

Story-3:: How Caffeine Addiction Changed History
Coffee, might just be my favorite drink, probably yours too.
Overview: I love watching documentaries; I, even more, love watching shorter ones that are only a few minutes but pack a punch. As someone who loves coffee, I found Michael Pollan's point of view that 90% of the world's adults consume some form of caffeine every day, making it the most widely used psychoactive drug on Earth. Michael Pollan, author of "This Is Your Mind On Plants," explains why. Michael goes into the history of coffee drinking, breaking down its origins and how it benefits humankind.

Story-3:: Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3 Performance Mix
Overview: If you know me, you know I am a sucker for a good YouTube video of a DJ Routine, and the team over at Crossfader doesn't disappoint with a routine of the all-new Pioneer XDJ-RX3. Suppose you are less familiar with Pioneer gear. This unit is what they call an all-in-one, meaning you can export your music to a USB or connect your laptop if you want, and you have a full DJ set up similar to what you would find in the club. Sure, people will always say silly things like those aren't fully CDJ-Style platers or are only a two-channel mixer. But let's be honest, most of that is just for show, and if the team over at Crossfader can do this sort of fantastic mix, so can you; well, maybe with a whole lot of practice. If you hunt for some fun tools to help take your mix to the next level, check out the music pack from the team over at Crossfader.

Story-4:: How To Cook A Perfect Steak At Home | Bon Appétit
Overview: From searing a deeply caramelized crust to achieving that perfectly pink medium-rare temperature, Andy Baraghani (@andybaraghani) shares his favorite method for cooking steak at home. No fancy gadgets or days of advance prep work are necessary here - a stovetop, a hot pan, and some techniques are all you need to see perfect results. I put this story in here because it is the holiday and if you like me, you want to cook for friends and sometimes to cook steak on the grill during the colder months can be difficult. Also, trying to hit everyone's favorite temperature can be a challenge. By following Andy's method, you end up with more of what I will call a family style of food. I have tried this out once already, and my four-year-old gave me two big thumbs up and said DELICIOUS!!

Story-5:: Parchiepal Watches
Holidays = New Watch Time, Well Anytime is New Watch Time
Story-5:: Holidays = New Watch Time, Well Anytime is New Watch Time
Overview: Named after the founder's childhood imaginary friend (seriously), Parchie is a collection of classic dive watches meant to be worn, collected, and shared by kids and their parents alike. We believe that watches are best when they are analog, meaning no screens, no gimmicks, just good old-fashioned watches that tell the time. So if you are a fan of watches like I am, then Cara Barrett's name should not be new to you. Cara was a long-time contributor at Hodinkee, working on special projects. As a result, learning the playbook for how to make limited edition/collaboration watches with brands like Swatch and others. Armed with that knowledge, she went out and created her brand. As someone who loves watches and likes to share the passion with everyone around them, I am getting a handful of Parchie watches for my daughter, mother, mother-in-law, wife, me; I think you get the drift. At $50 a pop, it is a slam dunk! Oh yeah, it comes in Dailey Blend Blue.
