Story-1:: Time to Swag out with Series Won
Overview: Ryan Peterson started the Series Won paddle attire company roughly two years ago, “out of sheer selfishness. I’m a gear guy. I like cycling, fly fishing, skiing, and part of what makes it fun is not only the experience but having that hat or shirt that echoes my interests. For platform tennis, I would search online and not find anything that mirrored my love of the game—a hat, t-shirt, gear, whatever. If there was ever a sport that deserves to be noticed, it is paddle, especially with such a rich history and passionate following.
Over the last few years, I have picked up paddle (Platform Tennis) and to say I am hooked is the understatement of century. The game has everything, strategy, skill, athleticism, and did I mention drinking! If you know me, you know I love Sneakers (SNRKS) and watches. Sometime I like watches that are slightly out of my price range. So when I came across Vague Watch Co. and learned what they were doing. I got rather excited for the possibility of getting my hands on a watch that was slightly different then the OG, you could say inspired but had similar attention to detail and craftsmanship’s. Story-5:: Traktor now works on Pioneer’s CDJ-3000 Media Player
Overview: The flagship multi player (CDJ), the CDJ-3000, is now compatible with the USB-HID*¹ control feature of Native Instruments’ TRAKTOR PRO 3 DJ application. This comes under the Pioneer DJ Certification Program*². On the screen of the CDJ-3000, you can now browse the music library in TRAKTOR PRO 3 when the application is running on a PC/Mac connected to the multi player. You can also control loops, Hot Cues, Beat Jump, Key Shift and more using the professional interface of the CDJ-3000. This means if you have Traktor and CDJ-3000, you just need to connect your laptop to the media players and you are rocking and rolling. The added benefit of having Beatport Link, as mentioned last week on the Friday Top Five. Is now you can prep most of your set on your laptop or phone, hook up your laptop and live stream all new tracks with ease.
