Music Monday Featuring a Disclosure DJ Set in London on Kindred Radio

Around 2012, when Disclosure dropped their debut album Settle, I found myself growing tired of the EDM scene. The genre had become overly commercialized, and everything started to blend together—all about the drop and not much else. I was craving something fresh, and Disclosure delivered that in spades.

Their sound was different—a new tempo, a new vibe that shifted my musical tastes and influenced not only what I listened to but also how I approached playing music. Over the years, I’ve followed their evolution closely and have loved every step of the way. So, when I heard they were doing another Boiler Room set, I was beyond excited. But, like a corporate event that’s “over-subscribed,” it ended up getting canceled. Luckily, thanks to the Kindred crew from London, we still got a Boiler Room-style session.

For me, the highlights of the mix were their new track with Chris Lake and the closing song with a hook that goes "Love Of the Music," which I still can’t ID.

If you're into Disclosure, this mix is a must-listen. Trust me.
