STORY-2:: SALESFORCE ANNOUNCES FIRST SLACK INTEGRATION

Overview: After about a year, Salesforce announces its first slack integration.

“We really want Slack to be the primary engagement surface for our users, their communications, their work, their workflows and the processes and the apps they support”

Why It Matters: Salesforce has been on an acquisition spending spree and it was only a matter of time until they started to integrate Slack. If you think about what Slack means, it is the modern meeting room, that if automated correctly will bring people together when they need to tackle a topic at hand.

STORY-3:: TRUST WANTS TO GIVE SMALLER BUSINESS A MARKETING EDGE

Overview: Welcome to Trust, the first card + community designed to help your marketing investments make more money.

Why It Matters: Trust wants to give smaller businesses the same advantages that large enterprises have when marketing on digital and social media platforms. It came out of beta with $9 million in seed funding from Lerer Hippeau, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Upfront Ventures, and Upper90.
