She is a Ph.D. in biomedical science from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She also has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biochemistry/chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Patrick trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute with Dr. Bruce Ames, where she investigated the effects of micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) inadequacies on metabolism, inflammation, DNA damage, and aging and whether supplementation can reverse the damage. In addition, she also investigated the role of vitamin D in brain function, behavior, and other physiological functions. Story-2:: Peloton Guide
Overview: Turn your TV into a guided workout experience and see yourself grow stronger
Peloton, you know the company that spent a ton of money then sacked its founder and CEO is releasing a new camera and tracking armband. Starting at $295, it is probably the first device/service from Peloton that I am less interested in namely because I did the P90X in my house and the idea of jumping all around my house (condo at the time) was less interesting to me, I would rather just go for a run or a gym, but that is just me. I also can’t help but think more dynamic workouts are better in a bigger space. While this product does technically complete with say Tonel. I do still hope Peloton does come out with something similar because I will buy that.
