Story-1:: Spotify starts selling live music tickets to fans directly
Overview: Spotify has launched a new site to sell fans tickets to live gigs directly from its platform instead of redirecting users to partners like Ticketmaster and Eventbrite. The company revamped its in-app live event discovery page in June with better gig discovery for events around the user’s local area.
How can I buy tickets?
You can find info about concerts in Spotify’s Live Events Feed. Some tickets listed there are available for purchase directly from Spotify.
To buy tickets from Spotify, go to tickets.spotify.com.
To make a purchase, you will need to log into or create a Spotify account and select the number of tickets you wish to purchase.

Overview: I found out about DJ Filthy Rich via the Common Wealth Proper email blast and a highlight of a 25th Anniversary mix of OutKast. By the time I went to listen to the mix, Soundcloud had pulled it. While that was unfortunate, I was about to connect with and have been ears deep in some of his other mixes. In true DJ fashion, his music can be found on Soundcloud, Youtube, and MixCloud. Links below.

Story-5:: Sommelier Tries 14 Celebrity Wines (Gordon Ramsay, Leo DiCaprio, Yao Ming & More)
Overview: Actors, athletes, musicians...vintners? Sommelier André Hueston Mack returns to sample 14 more wines made by celebrities giving his expert opinion on their quality, taste, and value. Story-5++:: New Heat Alert!!!!
Overview: Can’t get through a FT5 without highlighting some dope sneakers dropping. Jordan Brand is now set to introduce the Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC Grey.” Aside from exploring similar tones, the shoe also features exposed elements with foam displayed on the tongues. The Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC Grey” features gray nubuck upper bases with darker gray and light blue overlays. Aside from the usual midfoot Swooshes, additional branding comes in the form of tongue tags, Wings motifs embroidered at the rear in yellow and printed insoles. Elevating the shoe are yellowed midsoles with contrast stitching paired with light blue rubber outsoles.
Take an on-foot look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC Grey” above and look for the shoe to release later this year.

Overview: I hope you’re having a great summer, getting out to the pool, beach, lake, whatever works for you. In true summer fashion, our very own @ReedDailey is back with my annual Poolside mix. This year the mix featured a bit more disco, and a bit more 80’s influence, but fear not, there is still a ton of downtempo tropical house hits!
