Story-1:: Let there be Tequila
Overview: The children of Palestinian and African immigrants, Taher and Umolu set out to become some of the youngest creators of premium liquor. They launched Jon Basil Tequila in December 2018 - named after Umolu's father - following an inspirational visit to Jalisco, Mexico. While their tequila has amassed a loyal customer base of 15,000 in Illinois, the pair will soon start distributing in other states after securing deals with Walmart, Binny's and Mariano's.
“To the ambitious ones that strive for greatness. The ones who have built countless memories with friends they consider family. Those who will achieve success and those who have already made it. Jon Basil encompasses all of that. It’s a staple used to celebrate the wins and learn from the losses. It represents only one movement — and that is forward.”

MICK’s musical style ranges across multiple decades and genres. There is no style he can’t play, but of course, his true love will always be 90’s hiphop. He has collaborated on musical projects with icons like: Adele, Busta Rhymes, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Eminem, Leon Bridges, and many more.

Story-4:: Mercedes-Benz X Virgil Abloh
Overview: Mercedes-Benz is honoring the work of Virgil Abloh on Project Maybach with the release of a short documentary that takes fans behind the scenes on the creative process of the collaboration.
The joint creation formed by two design greats brings forward a contemporary, yet functional concept that pushes the boundaries of automotive everywhere. In the short documentary, Wagener says, “I think it’s always great when two people have a different creative approach and different creative background. Virgil does a lot of stuff from fashion to art and so on so he has a different view. And I have a different angle too and it’s very interesting to combine these two.” The video ends with a touching tribute to Abloh’s legacy with a statement that reads, “With care, consideration, and respect to his family and friends, we share this behind-the-scenes of the project Maybach. We are honored to have worked with a creative genius and to have been inspired by his ideas and his attitude.”
